- The Library invites city residents to "Make Mine Monona!"
Help your hometown library flourish simply by checking-out ALL your Library materials at the Monona Public Library (even items borrowed from other libraries). We are launching a new campaign, "Make Mine Monona," inviting all Monona Library patrons who enjoy our programs and services to check-out items only at the Monona Library.
Why is this important? Because everytime you check an item out here, the Library earns money to keep operating and continue to build its collection, continue to provide special evenys and programming!
Local artist Basia Rompa displays work at Library
The Monona Public Library is pleased to display the artwork of local artist and Monona Library patron Basia Rompa throughout the Library until October.
Take a few extra minutes on your next visit to the Library to enjoy Basia's work!

We have four new reviews for you: a book about a brilliant scientist that loved venomous snakes perhaps a little too much, a profile of Russia's dark heart under Vladimir Putin, a mystery involving fathers and long-lost children set in Minnesota's northwoods, and a fresh biography extolling the virtues of Abraham Lincoln.
