Monona Library Health & Wellness Collection
We are gratified to be a recipient of a two year grant from the Madison Community Foundation. We will receive $25,000 in 2009 and 2010 to develop and expand on a community health and wellness collection to be shared across the County and the library system. Our selectors are busy identifying desirable titles and we want to offer a range of health and alternative health information in a variety of formats. We invite you to email or send a title for recommended purchase and we will be consulting with experts in the field of medical information to make sure we offer the very best in health information.
In addition to adding new titles in a variety of formats, we also plan to offer programs about how to get and stay healthy all year long.
